Michelle and Anthony D’Anna, the founders of Michelle’s Catering, have worked in the wedding and events business for many years.  They have an amazing team that shares their passion for providing delicious food, refreshing beverages, and impeccable service.

Michelle D’Anna

CO-FOUNDER

Michelle grew up in the restaurant industry, and both her parents and grandparents owned and operated their own establishments. Going to college in Massachusetts and working in the hospitality industry, she became a maitre d’ in a wedding venue. It was there that she fell in love with coordinating the details of special events. In 1994, she launched her own company where she offers culinary delights, event planning, and creative design and décor. With many years of experience in all aspects of customer service, Michelle exceeds the expectations of her clients as she creates memorable experiences for weddings, corporate events, parties, and social occasions.

Anthony D’Anna

CO-FOUNDER

Anthony D’Anna is the Co-Founder and Executive Chef at Michelle’s Catering, in Whippany. NJ. He discovered his love for cooking at a young age. learning, from his Sicilian grandparents. Who taught him the value of using fresh ingredients?
and simple recipes to create delicious dishes. Anthony often says. “We all have and work with the freshest ingredients. but it’s most important what you do with them.

A self-taught chef, Anthony has earned recognition for his exceptional culinary skills and creativity from both the public and food critics alike. He gained widespread attention after appearing on a national television cooking show
where he showcased one of his themed recipes. Anthony’s passion for cooking, combined with his expertise in wine pairings, makes him a standout chef. His dedication to creating memorable dining experiences sets Michelle’s Catering apart in the industry. Fun Fact: Chef Anthony has received his Level One certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers

Anthony D’Anna

Anthony is the Executive Chef at Michelle’s Catering. He started his culinary expressions at a very young age under the mindful watch of his Sicilian grandparents. Here is where he learned his humble approach to creating magnificent culinary concepts. Grandma always said… “fresh and simple tastes the best!”. Anthony is often heard saying, “we all have and work with the freshest ingredients, but it’s most important what you do with them.” Although Anthony would describe himself as a self-taught home chef, his critics would completely disagree.
